HTML: where to write and test on desktop

This is lesson 1 of HTML. If you are making website or trying code of HTML, you have can do any of the following:  

1) Write on Notepad
Go to Start > programs > accessories > notepad. write you HTML code and save it with HTML extension. It means if you are saving file with the name of "new", you have to save it by the name of "new.html". Then save it. And run it in a browser.

2) Use a software
You can use Macromedia Dreamweaver or Microsoft Frontpage, and test your code there. These are commercial software.
